Editor's note
Two plastic entry-level fountains, both with a filter and a low-water alert. The SOLO SE is the larger at 1.8 L and is dishwasher safe, which takes work out of cleaning; PETKIT also publishes its 35 dB running noise. The Well holds 1.5 L, is not dishwasher safe, and comes with no noise figure. The Well costs roughly 1,500 yen less. SOLO SE to cut down on washing; the Well to start as cheaply as possible.
